You may or may not know but I only work 6 non-child hours a week and nap times. And for the record my boy’s strength is not day sleeping. He is like his Mumma and suffers from FOMO badly!
I often get asked how I keep my business 1. Going, 2. Growing and 3. Over the 6 Figure mark. Most assume I work late nights and crazy hours.
But this is the honest truth….I suck at working late nights. I need my sleep. Just ask my husband if I don’t get my 8 hours a night…I am a mega-bitch. Now I have Joshua, my little dude, I especially can’t be tired as it’s not fair on him-I need to be calm and patient with him; being sleep deprived to do ‘one more post on social, or answer one more comment’ is not worth it the next day.
So how do you Get and Keep Momentum in your business without working crazy hours?
It comes down to working on both the Woo and the Doo - mindset and strategy - to get in a flow where business is easy to fit in with life.
Top Business Mindset And Strategy Insider Secrets To Grow To A 6 Figure Business (Without Working Crazy Hours!)
Make time every morning for YOU - if you don’t the day dissolves and you end up resenting everyone asking for your time and energy. Give to yourself first, be selfish.
Say NO to anything that doesn't grow your 1. Presence, 2. Audience and 3. Authority. Anything else is just feeding your ego. Recognise this and say no.
Highlight your ideal clients problems for them. Don’t always be on the solving end. Why would they want to work with you if you solve everything for them out of the gate?
Be super picky with who you work with so they don’t drain you. That way you won’t need to ‘treat’ yourself soo much in the spa’s and out-of-work activities. The treat will be in your work.
Come to every activity with fun and excitement - you always get things done faster when you’re having fun right? If it’s a bore then you’ll drag your heels; wasting time.
Set sales goals for the month, quarter and year that take you to over 6 figures. Then reverse engineer them - know that 1-5% of your list will buy an offer. So how many people do you need to be in front of?
Outsource all the things that take time and are manual. This is not getting you in front of that 1-5% so quit it. Don’t be so up yourself that you think no-one will do it as perfect as you. I can tell you know - they will eff up, but that’s OK and it’s all part of growing a business.
Turn off dings and pings when you’re in a zone of concentration. They can wait - no-one will die, but you’ll be pissed off not getting your tasks done each day and wonder why you can’t achieve.
Have a funnel that converts. Know your metrics and spend time tweaking, not reinventing. Customers that spend more in one stop grow your bottom line faster than acquiring more and more leads.
Know how to run your own ads (they are going up but not going away) and focus on them weekly. It’s like going to the casino, you have to be in to win, but not knowing how to play black jack is just throwing your money away. They work for you while you sleep.
Which one will you work on first in 2020? 6, 9 and 10 I can help with - stay tuned for a special something coming…
